As a chef, Jen is passionate about making cooking easier and more accessible for everyone. Get more comfortable in the kitchen as you cook along with her, learning how she cooks for four hungry mouths at home.

Discover how to make some delicious new recipes and learn to prepare well, cook well, and eat well.

You can expect to see Jen demonstrate some techniques, and then you’ll have the chance to have a go at cooking the recipes yourself!

easy things to bake cake

baking and winter puddings – $90

Sunday 11th July – 10am – 12pm

Jen is joined by Rebecca from Happy Wholefoods baking mixes to bring you are high value class about baking and winter puddings.

This class will be focusing on good flavour,  seasonal baking, subbing ingredients, local grains, technique and more.

Enjoy tea and coffee on arrival with one of Jen’s cheese and buttermilk scones. Jen and Rebecca will then demonstrate two puddings and sides that you will get to eat before you roll up the sleeves and head to the kitchen for the hands on part. Make a crumble topping to take home and also a  cookie dough roll to bake at home. The recipes will be a mixture of wholesome and decadent treats – just the way we like it!

When you’re feeding a family on a budget, a whole chicken is one of the most versatile things you can buy. Get some delicious chicken dinner ideas and learn how to use one chicken in three ways to create multiple meals for your family.

This cooking class explores getting the most out of your chicken, breaking it down, using it all, and making a good stock/broth. We will also be chatting about mixing plant and animal proteins to make your food go further and offering some quick chicken dinner ideas.

Jen will show you how to break down a chicken so you can do it easily at home and you’ll learn how to cook chicken perfectly so that it’s juicy and tender every time.

All chicken used will be Bostocks Organic free range chicken
